Our client has an Army Garrison which serves as a vital strategic location and requires robust security measures to control access to restricted areas within the cantonment.

What they Needed

They requested a robust access control system to fortify the security of their cantonment area. The primary goal was to manage and control access to restricted zones, effectively identifying authorized personnel and visitors based on their access permissions. The system needed to provide both physical and logical access control, enable efficient visitor management, and offer seamless monitoring capabilities from the Station Head Quarter and Force Control Room.

Solution We Provided

Understanding the unique security challenges faced by Bahawalpur Garrison, we designed and implemented a comprehensive access control system to meet their specific requirements. Our solution incorporated the following key components:

Physical Access Control:

Our physical access control system effectively restricted entry to designated areas. The system allowed authorized visitors to gain physical access from check posts, ensuring only authorized personnel could enter secure zones.

Logical Access Control:

The logical access control system empowered system users to access and view sensitive files, critical information, and live CCTV camera feeds.

Visitor Management:

Our access control system efficiently managed two types of visitors – Temporary Visitors and Regular Visitors. Temporary visitors were granted access rights and time limits through security tokens issued at the check post reception. For Regular Visitors, the Station Head Quarter performed intelligence and police verification and issued smart cards containing authorized access details, personal information, vehicle information, and an expiration date.

Force Control Room Integration:

The system seamlessly integrated with the Force Control Room, enabling real-time monitoring of all entry and exit points. The Control Room received alerts for suspicious activities, expired entries, and unauthorized access, allowing for immediate physical action, if necessary.
